The Creation Justice Ministry inspires our parish community to care for God’s creation by promoting environmental stewardship through sustainable living, responsible consumption, and practical actions that protect our common home. Through education, recycling, composting, and environmental initiatives, we encourage parishioners to embrace lifestyles that reduce waste and care for the earth for future generations.
WHAT WE DO
Recycling Programme
Recycling bins are placed around the church to encourage parishioners to recycle paper, plastic, metal, and other recyclable materials.
Donated items collected are channelled to the Thrift Shoppe, where proceeds support PIHDM’s outreach and charitable programmes. While items to be recycled are placed inside the Kloth Cares bin located in front of the PIHDM office.
Refiller Mobile Campaign
Held once every three months, our Refiller Mobile Campaign encourages parishioners to reduce single-use plastic.
Parishioners are encouraged to bring their own containers to refill everyday household essentials such as:
● Bath soap
● Laundry detergent
● Dishwashing liquid
● Floor cleaner
● Fabric softener
● Other household liquid cleaning products
● Organic pet snacks

Care for Creation Activities
Throughout the year, the ministry organises and supports activities that promote environmental awareness, sustainable living, and care for creation in collaboration with the Archdiocesan Office of Human Development (AOHD). These initiatives encourage the parish community to put our faith into action by caring for God’s creation through education, advocacy, and community engagement.
