FLM Singers

Brought together by a love of music and singing, the FLM Singers were formed in April 2016.

The FLM Singers’ objectives are to:

  • Build friendships amongst parishioners, their families and friends.
  • Bring cheer to the needy and disadvantaged through performances at nursing homes, old folks’ homes, orphanages and hospitals.
  • To raise funds for Parish causes and selected charities.

Since its formation, the FLM Singers have performed at wedding and anniversary Masses at church and at well-known commercial venues during the Christmas season. Much of this is made possible by the generous support of well-wishers.

Today it boasts 42 members of diverse ages and backgrounds. Camaraderie, hard work, and commitment to singing practices are the mainstay. Amidst mutual give and take, and lots of fun and laughter, friendships are forged that give purpose, meaning and the particular energy and verve of the group.

The FLM Singers have over the years, gradually fostered a many layered mission. They started out as a carolling group to build relationship among parishioners, members and their families. They have since broadened their scope to bring cheer to those in homes and hospitals and to support and raise funds for charitable causes.

This year the FLM Singers have come full circle, building collaboration and enlarging their service to their home parish, singing at Church events and services. For inquiries on FLM Singers, call Annie Kwan (012 548 9429). Contact MAPPAC at mappacmalaysia@gmail.com.
