Historically, the Catholic community in Taman Megah (SS24) was divided into two BEC’s: St Matthew, comprising parishioners from SS24/1 to SS24/17, and St Luke, covering SS24/18 to SS24/26. In 2016, the two BECs merged due to a decline in active members, which made it challenging to sustain separate core teams for each BEC.
As of December 2024, the combined St Matthew/St Luke BEC consists of 29 households, though fewer than 12 are actively involved. As one BEC, St Matthew/St Luke is blessed with one chief coordinator, an assistant coordinator, a team of committee members and a home communion minister.

- Outreach: Advent/Lent outreach to homes. Provision of monthly rations to sponsored poor.
- Cafeteria before children catechism classes.
