The Covid-19 pandemic that has induced extreme poverty and a tremendous rise in the new poor, has alerted the Parish Priests and parishioners of St Ignatius Church (SIC) to kick-start a food project named SIC Food Station for needy parishioners. This bountiful project is intended to go beyond placing meals on tables and to bring hope to our affected communities. SIC Food Station was launched on 17 July 2021 with the participation of all church ministries while spearheaded by BECCOT (Basic Ecclesial Communities Coordinating Team) in collaboration with PIHDM (Parish Integral Human Development Ministry).
