BEC SS4B & SS4C St Joseph

BEC St Joseph SS4B and SS4C was formed in the late 1970s. We chose St Joseph as our patron for his tripartite role as Worker, Father and Protector of the child Jesus and the Holy Family. As a BEC, our goal is to unite the Catholic families in the neighborhood in a bond of Christian love by sharing of our time and providing assistance to families in need.

Having been in existence for several decades, the members of our BEC have become a close knit family where members will not hesitate to reach out to help one another. Numerous wonderful and heartwarming stories of love and friendship can be recounted over the years. Although many of our members are advanced in age, they continue to participate and contribute actively to our BEC family.

The number of families in the BEC has largely remain unchanged over the years (currently around 32 families). We hope that this current pandemic will foster a closer bond of communal friendship and solidarity among our members.

• BEC reflection second Wednesday of each month

• Visits to the sick in the community

• Rosary prayers daily (except for the weekends and public holidays) in May and October
