Church Facilities and Premises

  • The following premises are available for rent to parishioners:
  • Cafeteria
  • Funeral Parlours
  • Roof-Top Assembly Hall
  • Seminar/Conference Rooms

Further details of each premise / facility is noted below.

 

Cafeteria

The Cafeteria is located on the ground floor of the Community Centre and is suitable for gatherings of up to 130 people. Key features of the Cafeteria:

  • Air-conditioned
  • Equipped with two (2) water coolers, taps and sinks
  • Folding tables (round) and chairs are available
  • Cooking utensils and cutlery may be made available upon request

To rent the Cafeteria, please complete the Reservation of Premises form and submit it to the Parish Office. Please note that availability is on a first-come-first-served basis.


The terms and conditions of usage for the Cafeteria are as follows. The deposit (payable upon submission of reservation request) will be refunded to the requestor only if the conditions of usage are strictly complied with.

  • Smoking, consumption / presence of alcohol and /or illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
  • Furniture must be rearranged in their original position after usage.
  • Users are responsible to replace items broken / spoiled during usage. Report such incident(s), if any, to the Parish Office.
  • The Church of St. Ignatius shall not be held responsible for any loss or malfunction of items.
  • Ensure that all appliances are switched off after use.
  • Nothing is to be pasted / attached to the walls, pillars or ceiling.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the premises; wipe / sweep / mop the floor, tables and surfaces after usage.
  • Do not dispose of any solid items in the sink.
  • Garbage must be collected in bags, which must be tied and placed in the large bin located near the back gate of the church. 
  • It is the responsibility of the requestor to ensure caterers and / or any other vendors adhere to the terms and conditions of usage.
  • In the event of a cancellation, please inform the Parish Office at least fourteen (14) days prior to the reserved date.

 

Funeral Parlour

There are two (2) funeral parlours situated on the ground floor of the Community Center (behind the Cafeteria). Each funeral parlour has the following amenities:

  • Air-conditioning
  • A covered area outside the parlour
  • Furniture / Seating is available

NOTE: To use the funeral parlour, the deceased must be a Catholic who belonged to the St. Ignatius Church parish. 

If the deceased and/or family are parishioners of St. Ignatius and wish to hold a funeral Mass, kindly contact the Parish Office.

If the deceased and/or family are members of another Catholic parish, the priest from the other parish may be invited to celebrate the funeral Mass in the Church of St. Ignatius, with the approval and permission of the Parish Priest. Kindly inform the Parish Office, if this is the case.

To rent a Funeral Parlour, a family member of the deceased is required to complete the Reservation of Premises form and submit it to the Parish Office. Please note that availability is on a first-come-first-served basis.

In the event a parishioner is unable to meet the cost of rental due to financial constraints, please contact your BEC Coordinator or the Parish Office.

Kindly observe the following terms and conditions of usage:

  • Burning of candles is not permitted within the funeral parlour, which is air-conditioned.
  • Furniture must be rearranged in their original position after usage.
  • Inform the Parish Office if something breaks / malfunctions during usage. Such items must either be replaced or charged.
  • Ensure that all appliances are switched off after use.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the premises.
  • Garbage must be collected in bags, which must be tied and placed in the large bin located near the back gate of the church.
  • Ensure the undertaker complies with the conditions of usage.
  • Ensure all personal items are removed from the funeral parlour after use.

 

Roof-top Assembly Hall

The Assembly Hall is located on the fourth (4th) floor of the Community Centre and is able to accommodate groups of up to 500 persons. Key features of the Assembly Hall :

  • Equipped with taps and sinks
  • Folding tables (round) and chairs are available

To rent the Assembly Hall, please complete the Reservation of Premises form and submit it to the Parish Office. Please note that availability is on a first-come-first-served basis.

The terms and conditions of usage for the Assembly Hall are as follows. The deposit (payable upon submission of reservation request) will be refunded to the requestor only if the conditions of usage are strictly complied with.

Seminar/Conference Rooms

A number of rooms (seating capacities from 30 - 500 persons), as well as an assembly hall (seating capacity of up to 800 persons), are available for rent. All venues are located in the Community Centre, with the following features:

  • All rooms are pillar-less.
  • All rooms are air-conditioned.
  • Each room has an individual built-in public address system.
  • Chairs and tables are available
  • Large tables (suitable for facilitators) rostrum and whiteboards are available upon request

The terms and conditions of usage for the function rooms are as follows. The deposit (payable upon submission of reservation request) will be refunded to the requestor only if the conditions of usage are strictly complied with.

  • Smoking, consumption / presence of alcohol and /or illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
  • Food and drinks are strictly prohibited in seminar / conference rooms  
  • Furniture must be rearranged in their original position after usage.
  • Users are responsible to replace items broken / spoiled during usage. Report such incident(s), if any, to the Parish Office.
  • The Church of St. Ignatius shall not be held responsible for any loss or malfunction of items.
  • Ensure that all appliances are switched off after use.
  • Nothing is to be pasted / attached to the walls, windows or ceiling.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the premises.
  • It is the responsibility of the requestor to ensure that third party(s), if any, adhere to the terms and conditions of usage.
  • In the event of a cancellation, please inform the Parish Office at least fourteen (14) days prior to the reserved date.

To rent a function room, please complete the Reservation of Premises form and submit it to the Parish Office. Kindly get in touch with the Parish Office for further details. Availability is on a first-come-first-served basis.
